Q: What's the difference between thin ribbons and the regular kind?
A: The original military ribbons were about 3/4" thick and made to slide onto a metal rack. The thin Ribbons are less than 1/8" thick, and permanently mounted on a plastic backer. They are less bulky and tend to look more tailored.
